If ever you find yourself near the Place d’Armes during the week, be sure to check out some outdoor concerts in Old Montreal’s core. The history and the architecture of the square will spring to life thanks to the live folk, funk, jazz and even cumbia music, playing during the lunch hour from Tuesday to Friday. Two winners of the Francouvertes 2018 will also be there on July 11 and August 7.
The Parc éphémère, located at the heart of the Cité du multimedia, is the ideal place for lunch during the week. Even if all of the concerts of this series are organized for the Faubourg des Récollets’ employers, employees and residents, everyone is invited to make themselves at home in this urban oasis. Wednesdays and Fridays, come on down and see what the vibrant musical schedule has to offer you during these 12 weeks.
*Old-Montrealer : (proper noun) Any person who feels particularly attached to Old Montreal, including entrepreneurs, business people, employees, employers and residents, who work, live and/or play in the neighbourhood on a daily basis.
