LORNA BAUER / SOLEIL
In this exhibition, entitled Soleil, the artist documented daily moments experienced in Paris during her residency at Couvent des Récollets, using mostly a 35mm camera. The resulting images speak to ideas around consumption, co-habitation, urban development, and the correlation between the natural and built urban environment. In turn, the works act as a connective tissue in order for relationships and other narratives to emerge.
