In addition to highlighting the history of the founding of Montréal and the first meeting with the First Nations people, the exhibition will underscore how the many waves of immigrants have impacted Montréal. All of these communities have contributed to shaping the character of modern-day Montréal, a cosmopolitan French-speaking metropolis where millions of different people live side by side. Presented by the Centre d’histoire de Montréal and the Bureau de la présidence du conseil.
