Cité Mémoire, created by Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon in collaboration with Michel Marc Bouchard, provides a unique experience to suspend the present and travel back in time into the very heart of Montréal’s history
Through a series of some twenty tableaux, Cité Mémoire offers fascinating encounters with a diverse cast of well-known and not so well-known characters who contributed to the rich and colourful history of our great city. Cité Mémoire brings the city’s past to life before our eyes using innovative projection on walls, trees and on the very ground where events took place.
Share the hardships of the New World with Marguerite Bourgeoys, groove to the rhythms of jazzmen from the Red Light District, witness the early days of baseball Hall-of-Famer Jackie Robinson and the exploits of hockey hero Maurice Richard. These are just a few of the Montréal historical moments brought to life by Cité Mémoire
