Come enjoy the second edition of the Cinéma Paradiso film festival at the Phi Centre from January 28th to February 2nd. This event, presented in collaboration with film distributor MK2 l Mile End, will allow you to discover the incredible works of Canadian and foreign talents alike! The movie lovers will be able to enjoy 6 screenings, multiple Canadian movie premieres but also special activities and unique encounters that you do not want to miss for anything!

Monday January 28th at 7PM
Ciné-concert: The Kid + Ouri
The legendary Charlie Chaplin will be accompanied by live music from Ouri, an electronic music producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist artist.


Tuesday 29th 2019 at 6PM
Ramen Shop + Food Core
The screening of Ramen Shop will be paired with a workshop in the Food Core event series, which is dedicated to feeding our collective knowledge about basic ingredients. The third edition will be dedicated to one of ramen’s most essential ingredients—the egg!


Wednesday January 30th at 6PM
Pupille + WeDoSomething Mtl
Screening of the from the Franco-Belgian movie Pupille about adoption followed by a discussion with the non-profit organization WeDoSomething Mtl.


Thursday January 31st at 7PM
The Tree of Life + Conference: From Novel to Screenplay
Screening of the American movie The Tree of life followed by a discussion on the process of adapting literary work into film with director Louise Archambault, producer Ginette Petit and author Jocelyne Saucier.


Friday February 1st at 6PM
Watch & Dine: Leto + Themed Dinner
The American movie Diane will offer you a new perspective on loneliness. This evening is a food and film pairing.


Friday February 1st at 8PM
Watch & Dine: Leto + Themed Dinner
The Franco-Russian movie Leto will take you to the rock’n’roll universe of the 1980s during the Soviet Union.


Saturday February 2rd at 1PM
Mirai + Master Class with Samantha Youssef
The Japanese animation movie Mirai will take you to a fantasy world. The screening be followed by a workshop led by animation director Samantha Youssef, who worked for Disney and Ubisoft.
