Baking workshops were such a success last Holiday season, the Château Ramezay – Historic Site and Museum of Montréal is again inviting families to try their hand at bread making. This spring break, give children a culinary experience with an historical flavour!

Bread takes only a few ingredients! Churn your butter, add starter and flour! Sprinkle it with sugar and dried fruit and you’ve got a tasty snack to share among friends! While the bread is baking, explore Montreal’s history! Visit our permanent exhibition or check our current exhibition’s data base to find out if any of your ancestors were part of the Carignan-Salières regiment, 350 years ago.

No reservations are needed, just visit the Museum February 28 to March 6, 2016, 11:30 am to 3:45 pm. Exceptionally, the Château will be open Monday, February 29 during spring break. The workshop runs continuously. Young and old are welcome!

Additional Information :

Duration : Allow 20 to 30 minutes for the bread making and an additional 20 minutes for baking. The last workshop will start at 3:45 pm.

Cost : This activity is included in the price of admission (Adult : $10, Child : $5, Senior : $9, Family : $22)

Notes : Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults unaccompanied by children may also participate.
