Discover the animal world like you’ve never seen it before. BODY WORLDS: Animal Inside Out – is an all-new exhibition from the creators of the internationally renowned exhibition Gunther von Hagens’ BODY WORLDS. This exhibition sheds light on what lies beneath the skin of more than 50 animals, among them some of the world’s most spectacular creatures.

Thanks to a technique known as “plastination” invented by the eminent Dr. Gunther von Hagens, we can now marvel at what lies beneath the skin of more than 50 animals. With skin removed, these preserved authentic specimens allow us to peer at what lies inside and to compare muscular, skeletal, nervous, and digestive systems, blood vessels and internal organs.

This marvellous voyage inside the body will delight and inform minds of all ages as the secret inner workings of mammals, invertebrates, fish, and birds are each uncovered. How caribous travel across frozen ground, how many tasks a giraffe’s tongue can perform, and why bulls wield such tremendous force are just a few of the things revealed through this unique exhibition.

Designed to inspire a better understanding of the animal world and to foster a greater respect for it,Animal Inside Out is the result of a collaboration between various veterinary programs, zoos, and animal groups.

No animal was killed or harmed for this exhibition.
