THE JARDIN COINTREAU
June 3, 2016 / Posted by SDC Vieux-Montréal
For the first time ever, Old Montreal will be host to the Jardin Cointreau for some botanical relaxation during Grand Prix weekend. From June 9 at noon to the end of the weekend, you’ll be able to witness the magnificent oasis take shape on the Place Royale. The garden is brought to you by Cointreau and the Pointe-à-Callière Archeology and History Musuem of Montréal.
This wonderful space will be furnished by Nüspace to offer you a relaxing ambiance while you take a seat on ottomans and enjoy your beverages on low tables. This temporary installment provides the perfect context for basking in the midafternoon sun. You will be served a refreshing pallet of Cointreau based cocktails which have been specially concocted for the occasion. You will have the choice to savour the classic orange infused liqueur in three cocktails: the Vieux-Montréal made with Cointreau, lime, Monna cassis and sparkling water, the Place Royale made with Cointreau, lime, mint and sparkling water and the Grand Prix made with Cointreau, lime and Prosecco Zonin. All three are guaranteed to quench your midafternoon thirst, provide an excellent aperitif or a plentiful drinking experience in the evening.
The Jardin Cointreau will host special events throughout the duration of the Grand Prix weekend:
